Job summary

Mass General Brigham Gastroenterology seeks a PA to provide consultative expertise on inpatient GI teams across MGH. The APP will follow patients through admission and assist with adjustments to the care plan, including coordinating outpatient GI follow-up when needed.

The role requires completion of physician assistant duties, collaboration with attendings, GI fellows, nurses, and the GI team, and timely documentation in EPIC.

Qualifications

• Master's Degree in Physician Assistant required.
• 2 years of experience as a PA required.
• Physician Assistant license in MA.
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.

Responsibilities

• Provides direct care, counseling, and teaching to patients in ambulatory, inpatient, and operative settings.
• Performs complete histories and physical examinations.
• Orders and interprets laboratory and diagnostic tests.
• Documents notes in EPIC and handles billing for care provided.
