Job summary

Cleveland Clinic is seeking a part-time Advanced Practice Provider to support inpatient GI consult coverage at Hillcrest Hospital with potential outpatient clinics based on need.

The ideal candidate will be self-motivated, comfortable with autonomy, and able to work within a multidisciplinary team. APRN with MSN or PA with physician supervision is required, with relevant state licensure and DEA considerations.

Qualifications

• Self-motivated and autonomous candidate who can operate in a multidisciplinary team.
• Qualifications include MSN for APRN or MS for PA with physician supervision.
• Licensed or eligible for licensure as required by state boards; DEA license may be required.

Responsibilities

• Conducts comprehensive medical histories and examinations to develop diagnoses and treatment plans.
• Performs routine and specialized procedures as credentialed.
• Educates patients about diseases, treatments and side effects; answers questions.
• Participates in rounds and coordinates care with nursing and other professionals.
• Ensures continuity of care and appropriate referrals to specialists.
