Job description

GES Picker/Loader - Warehouse Material Handler 3rd Shift
  • Work Schedule: 3rd Shift 11:00pm - 7:00am. Days off determined during onboarding.

Our Geographic Enterprise Solutions (GES) Picker/Loaders are critical to our success at FritoLay! GES Picker/Loaders are responsible for a variety of warehouse duties in our state-of-the-art automated warehouse referred to as Geographic Enterprise Solutions. Although you will start out as a GES Picker/Loader for FritoLay, we are investing in helping you grow with us. This job can open the door to career opportunities with us or our parent company, PepsiCo.

In this role, here are some of the frequent tasks you will be doing:

  1. Monitor label/print machines to ensure no jams.
  2. Operate auto case erector (ACE).
  3. Empty Carton Recycle, which requires organizing cartons and putting usable cartons back into the GES system.
  4. Ensure proper cart handling and storage throughout the warehouse and within trailers.
  5. Pick appropriate product according to order using required technology.
  6. Load trailers via carts or stack cases on the floor of a truck trailer.
  7. Distribute product and assist in weekly product inventory.
  8. Perform general housekeeping and sanitation tasks as required (e.g., sweeping, trailer cleaning, trash removal).

We are open 24 hours a day, which means you may not have a typical schedule, and our jobs are physical! If you have never worked in a warehouse environment before, you should understand that you will be on your feet for the entirety of your shift.

Minimum qualifications for this job include:

  • You are 18 years of age or older.
  • You will be required to work on weekends, holidays, and off-shift hours.
  • You can lift 15 to 50 pounds with or without a reasonable accommodation.
  • You can stand and walk for extended periods with or without a reasonable accommodation.
  • You can climb, bend, reach, stoop, kneel, and stretch for extended periods with or without a reasonable accommodation.
  • You can repeatedly lift, carry, push, pull, and handle products with or without a reasonable accommodation.
  • You are willing and able to work at heights using ladders or lifts.
  • You are willing and able to work in environments with extreme temperatures, humidity, loud or hazardous equipment, and slippery surfaces.
