Job description

GES Picker - Warehouse Material Handler - Part-Time 3rd Shift
  • Work Schedule: Friday and Sunday, 7:00pm - 3:00am

Our Geographic Enterprise Solutions (GES) Pickers are critical to our success at FritoLay! GES Pickers are responsible for a variety of warehouse duties in our state-of-the-art automated warehouse referred to as Geographic Enterprise Solutions. Although you will start out as a GES Picker for FritoLay, we are investing in helping you grow with us. This job can open the door to career opportunities with us or our parent company, PepsiCo. In this role, here are some of the frequent tasks you will be doing:

  1. Monitor label/print machines to ensure no jams
  2. Utilize Warehouse Control System (WCS) to address system faults
  3. Move and store carts properly throughout the warehouse
  4. Pick appropriate product according to order using required technology
  5. Load trailers via carts or stack cases on the floor of a truck trailer
  6. Distribute product and assist in weekly product inventory
  7. Perform general housekeeping and sanitation tasks as required (e.g., sweeping floors, cleaning trailers, taking out trash)

Our facility operates 24 hours a day, so your schedule may vary. This role is physically demanding, requiring you to be on your feet throughout your shift. If you are new to warehouse environments, please note that the job involves standing, climbing, bending, reaching, stooping, kneeling, stretching, and handling products repeatedly, with or without reasonable accommodations. You must be willing and able to work at heights using ladders or lifts, and in environments with extreme temperatures, humidity, loud equipment, and slippery surfaces.

Minimum qualifications include:

  1. You are 18 years of age or older
  2. You are available to work on weekends, holidays, and off shifts
  3. You can lift 15 to 50 pounds with or without accommodations
  4. You can stand and walk for extended periods
  5. You can climb, bend, reach, and stretch for extended periods
  6. You are willing to work at heights and in challenging environmental conditions
