Job description

GES Picker/Loader - Warehouse Material Handler

• Work Schedule: Start time: 7:40 PM End time: 3:40 AM Thursday and Friday OFF

Our Geographic Enterprise Solutions (GES) Picker/Loaders are critical to our success at FritoLay! GES Picker/Loaders are responsible for a variety of warehouse duties in our state-of-the-art automated warehouse referred to as Geographic Enterprise Solutions. Although you will start out as a GES Picker/Loader for FritoLay, we are investing in helping you grow with us. In this role, here are some of the frequent tasks you will be doing:

1. Monitor label/print machines to ensure no jams
2. Operate auto case erector (ACE)
3. Empty Carton Recycle, organizing cartons and putting usable cartons back into the GES system
4. Ensure proper cart handling and storage throughout the warehouse and within trailers
5. Pick appropriate product according to order using required technology
6. Load trailers via carts or stack cases on the floor of a truck trailer
7. Distribute product and assist in weekly product inventory
8. Perform general housekeeping and sanitation tasks as required (e.g., sweeping, trailer cleaning, trash removal)

Our operations run 24 hours a day, so schedules may vary. The work is physical, and you will be on your feet for the entire shift. Minimum qualifications include:

1. You are 18 years of age or older
2. You are able to work on weekends, holidays, and off-shift hours
3. You can lift 15 to 50 pounds with or without accommodation
4. You can stand and walk for extended periods
5. You can climb, bend, reach, stoop, kneel, and stretch for extended periods
6. You can repeatedly lift, carry, push, pull, and handle products
7. You are willing and able to work at heights using ladders or lifts
8. You are willing and able to work in environments with extreme temperatures, humidity, loud equipment, and slippery surfaces
