Job summary

Qualifications

• Graduation from Registered Nurse Program.
• BSN desired; if not on hire, may be obtained within 5 years.
• California RN License is required; ongoing certification preferred.
• BLS, ACLS required for several units; NIHSS/PALS/ENPC where applicable.

Responsibilities

• Lead and educate patient care teams to ensure safe, effective care.
• Coordinate with nursing leadership and other departments to improve unit services.
• Precept and validate competency of new hires and procedures.
• Plan and direct care delivery for shifts; monitor patient acuity and outcomes.
