Job summary

University of Southern California is seeking a Registered Nurse to support the Chief Nursing Officer and lead a patient care team in the hospital setting. You will implement the nursing process, educate patients, and advocate for safe, high-quality care through collaboration with multiple disciplines.

Responsibilities include precepting new hires, ensuring competency, and coordinating care across units. A BSN is preferred and active California RN licensure plus BLS/ACLS/PALS are required.

Qualifications

• California RN license required or eligible for licensure in California.
• BLS, ACLS, PALS and NIHSS certifications must be active on start date.
• Experience in acute care settings and recent ortho/stroke exposure preferred.
• Ability to supervise, teach and precept new hires and students.

Responsibilities

• Lead patient care with the nursing process and care plans.
