Strada is hiring a German Payroll Functional Lead – SAP for a fully remote role based in Spain or Poland. You will own German payroll processes, support a ~15-person delivery team, ensure compliance, and drive continuous improvement across implementations.

The role requires hands-on SAP Payroll experience, fluent German and English, and 5–8 years in payroll operations within HR outsourcing or corporate settings. Remote collaboration across Europe is essential.

Qualifications

• Fluent German and English; strong payroll knowledge and legislation.
• 5–8 years of payroll administration experience in HR/outsourcing or corporate env.
• Hands-on SAP Payroll experience; ability to support payroll transformations.
• Ability to lead delivery teams and manage client engagements.
• Experience in a fast-paced, globally distributed setting.

Responsibilities

• Support German payroll country solution with functional/technical expertise.
• Lead a delivery team and drive payroll excellence across projects.
• Ensure compliance with legislation and client deadlines.
• Provide daily functional support and escalation point for payroll questions.
• Collaborate with Operations, Transformation and Products on automation initiatives.
• Manage year-end activities and upskill team members through coaching.
