Job summary

CloudFactory is seeking a skilled German language annotator for a contracted, part-time engagement. You will annotate grammar relevance, review vocabulary sets, and provide pronunciation corrections to support German learning.

Ideal candidates hold a Bachelor's in German studies or linguistics, native or near-native German (CEFR C1), and can commit 10–20 hours per week over four weeks, with potential extension.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher in German studies, linguistics, education, or related field.
• Solid grounding in German grammar, vocabulary, and pronunciation.
• Experience evaluating, annotating, or quality-reviewing educational content — EdTech or AI-assisted learning a strong plus.
• Native or near-native German proficiency (CEFR C1 or higher).
• Advanced English proficiency (CEFR B2 or higher).

Responsibilities

• Annotate grammar relevance and write grammar explanations to help the mistake actually make sense.
• Review taught vocabulary and synonym sets for accuracy and pedagogical fit.
• Provide pronunciation correction annotations.
• Revamp trial lesson insights and connect them back to core grammar concepts.
• Draft lesson outlines for German learning content, informed by learner data.
