Job description

As a AccountManager (German market), you will ensure our customers get maximum value from autarc - and you’ll turn real customer pain into product improvements. You’ll work closely with Product and Tech, drive adoption and retention, and identify growth opportunities across your portfolio.

What you will do ✨

Be the go-to contact for our B2B customers in Germany (especially energy installers), guiding them from onboarding to long-term success

Translate customer feedback into product impact by working closely with our Product and Tech teams - crisp problem statements, clear priorities, and fast loops

Continuously improve the customer experience: tighten processes, remove friction, and make sure customers get answers and outcomes quickly

Identify upsell opportunities and expansion signals (new modules, additional seats, new locations) and drive them with Sales — without being “salesy”

Plan and run customer projects that drive adoption, retention, and measurable outcomes (e.g., rollout playbooks, training, QBRs, usage improvements)

Requirements

What makes you a great fit ✅

Experience in B2B Customer Success / Customer Service, with strong comfort in direct customer conversations

A technical or process-oriented background (e.g., engineering, operations, energy tech, or similar) that helps you understand complex customer workflows

Startup experience is a plus - you know how to operate with ambiguity and speed

Motivated to drive real change in renewables, not just work in sustainability

Excellent communication and presentation skills in German (C2); fluent English is a plus

Why join autarc?

Work on a product that directly accelerates the rollout of PV + heat pumps and makes installers more effective

A pivotal role in a fast-growing, VC-backed startup with real ownership and short decision paths

Freedom to improve, iterate, and ship changes quickly - no bureaucracy, no endless loops

Perks like gym membership, coffee & drinks, team events, MacBook & more

Competitive compensation

Next steps

Right now, 25% of CO2 emissions in Europe are caused by heating our buildings. In order for this to be reduced, the transition towards renewable energy needs to be simplified and made more accessible. There are too few installers to meet the growing demand for heat pumps, and a solution to match this trend needs to be brought to the market.
autarc is developing the leading operating system (OS) for heat pump installers, enabling a more digital and efficient installation process for heat pumps.
Through this, autarc is reducing the hurdles to decarbonizing single-family homes and small apartment buildings in Europe, with the goal to help with the planning and designing of 1 million heat pumps by 2030.
