Job summary

Penn Medicine Lancaster General Health seeks a BC/BE Geriatrician to join a major geriatric program serving older adults across long-term care, rehab, and end-of-life settings. Opportunities include hospital inpatient geriatric consults and outpatient geriatrics, with a team of physicians and NPs.

The role emphasizes teaching residents and fellows and participating in quality improvement, leadership, and committee work within a collaborative academic medical center.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited School of Medicine (Allopathic or Osteopathic).
• Board certified in Family Medicine or Internal Medicine.
• Board eligible or board certified in Geriatric Medicine.
• Possess or able to obtain an unrestricted PA Medical License.
• Completed Certification Requirements for Certified Medical Director (CMD) - preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive geriatric care across long-term care, short-term rehab, and end‑of‑life settings.
• Collaborate with a team of geriatricians and nurse practitioners.
• Inpatient Geriatric Consult Service and outpatient geriatric consultations.
• Teaching family medicine residents and geriatric fellows; participate in quality improvement, leadership, and committees.
