Job summary

The VA Los Angeles Healthcare System seeks a board-certified physician in Internal Medicine or Family Medicine with added qualifications in geriatrics or long-term care for the Geriatrics and Extended Care Program/CLC.

Qualifications

• Must be board-certified in Internal Medicine or Family Medicine with geriatrics exposure.
• Current full and unrestricted medical license in the United States.
• Completed residency program approved by ACGME or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Provide clinical care for older patients in a long-term care setting.
• Supervise/teach geriatrics fellows and residents.
• Collaborate with other clinicians and UCLA faculty as needed.
• Maintain patient records and use VA systems for care coordination.
