Department of Veterans Affairs Community Based Outpatient Clinic in Menlo Park, CA seeks a Staff Physician - Community Living Center (Full-Time). The position includes supervision of fellows, residents, and students, participation in interdisciplinary teams, and involvement in quality improvement and accreditation activities.

Qualifications

• Full, unrestricted US medical license.
• Board certification or eligibility in geriatrics or internal medicine.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive medical care to Veterans in the Community Living Center, managing acute and chronic conditions.
• Perform admission history and physical examinations, assessments, and development of management plans; coordinate referrals.
• Supervise geriatrics fellows, residents, medical students and other rotating trainees; participate in rounds and family conferences.
• Participate in quality improvement, patient safety, performance improvement initiatives, and accreditation activities.
• Contribute to education and research activities; participate in non-clinical duties as assigned; support on-call schedule.
