The University of Kansas Health System in Kansas City seeks an Advanced Practice Provider (APP) in Internal Medicine-Geriatrics to coordinate care within a collaborative team. You will evaluate patients, develop care plans, and manage medications for diverse patient populations.

Responsibilities include education, documentation, and quality-compliant practice under a collaborative/sponsoring physician. Eligible candidates must have APRN/PA credentials and current certifications.

Competenze

• Master's Degree in Physician Assistant OR Master Degree Nursing for APRNs. OR Doctor of Nursing Practice for APRNs.

Mansioni

• Evaluate medical problems of clients in the assigned specialty practice setting.
• Develop treatment plans and coordinate care in collaboration with physicians.
• Provide education to patients and families about preventive care and medications.
• Maintain documentation in compliance with regulatory standards (NCQA, Joint Commission).
• Refer complex cases to collaborating physician when indicated.
• Prescribe and monitor medications and respond to clinical issues.
