Summa Health in Akron, Ohio is seeking a Geriatrician to join a multi-provider team. The role combines outpatient geriatric assessment with inpatient consults across Akron and Barberton campuses, with flexible full- or part-time options and visa sponsorship for 2027.

Qualifications

• Board certification or eligibility in geriatric medicine.
• Unrestricted Ohio license or willingness to obtain one.
• Commitment to patient-centered, team-based care.

Responsabilités

• Provide outpatient geriatric assessment and inpatient consults at Akron and Barberton campuses.
• 1:6 weekend call rotation.
• Collaborate with geriatric nurse practitioners at multiple sites.
• Engage in education of medical students, residents and fellows.
• Practice within Summa Health's academic, teaching-hospital model and use Epic EMR.
