Job summary

Xpress Wellness Urgent Care in Marshall, TX is seeking an Advanced Practice Provider (NP or PA) to join our team in delivering compassionate, high-quality care to elderly and medically complex residents in a long-term care facility. The AP Provider will work closely with physicians, nurses, and other staff to manage chronic conditions, perform rounds, and document findings in the electronic medical record.

• Active NP/PA license in Texas.
• Board certification required for NP or PA.
• DEA registration and state licensure current.

Responsibilities

• Perform rounds with history taking, exam, and documentation in EMR.
• Organize rounding schedule, notes, labs, and imaging in the EHR.
• Communicate with Nursing Director about concerns and relay new orders.
• Be the first point of contact for nurses; after-hours calls may be necessary.
• Notate findings and treatment plans in the chart, with follow-up notes.
• Handle special projects and duties; this is a safety-sensitive position.
