Job summary

Healthforce is seeking a Registered Nurse – Geriatric for an Aspen, Colorado travel assignment in a hospital setting. The contract runs for 13 weeks, starting 09/28/2026, with shifts of 12 hours (3x12) and weekly pay between $2,151 and $2,319.

The role requires an ADN and an unrestricted Colorado RN license, BLS/First Aid; Spanish bilingual is preferred. Housing is traveler’s responsibility, with altitude considerations at 8,000 feet, and Healthforce provides onboarding and ongoing support.

Qualifications

• ADN required and Colorado RN license.
• BLS; First Aid certification; may be obtained upon hire.
• Spanish bilingual preferred.
• Able to function at high altitude (8,000 ft).

Responsibilities

• Provide direct bedside nursing care to geriatric patients, including assessment, monitoring, and care planning.
• Administer medications and treatments per physician orders; monitor for adverse reactions and document appropriately.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team to coordinate care, discharge planning, and family communication.
• Perform accurate documentation in the electronic health record and ensure compliance with hospital policies.
• Monitor patient safety, fall risk, oxygenation, and response to therapy in a high-altitude setting, with escalation as needed.
• Adapt plans of care based on changes in patient condition and maintain clinical competency in geriatric care.
