Job summary

Riddle Village Retirement Community seeks Full-time and Part-time Drivers to join our Transportation team. The Driver provides safe, timely transportation to residents and visitors, operates facility vehicles to local destinations, and maintains logs and basic vehicle care.

Applicants must have a High School Diploma or Equivalent and a current Commercial Driver's License, a safe driving record, and a genuine interest in geriatric care.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent is required.
• Current Commercial Driver's License (CDL) as required by Pennsylvania.
• Verifiable safe driving record is required.
• Thorough knowledge of the metropolitan and surrounding area is required.
• Genuine interest in geriatric care and the facility's philosophy.
• Well-groomed appearance with courteous, friendly demeanor.
• Previous transportation experience preferred.
• Ability to exert up to 20 pounds of force occasionally and up to 10 pounds frequently.
• Excellent customer service skills are essential.

Responsibilities

• Provide safe and timely transportation to residents, guests, and visitors.
• Drive facility vehicles to local destinations and events as scheduled.
• Maintain vehicle logs, refuel, and oversee basic maintenance and cleanliness.
• Assist Concierge desk as needed and address emergencies or other tasks as required.
