Job summary

Trinity Health PACE St Mary is seeking a Transportation Attendant to support safe and comfortable transport of elderly participants to appointments and back to the Center.

You will accompany participants, help with ambulation and comfort, and maintain clear communication about status to the team. The role emphasizes safety, compassion, and collaboration within a values-driven organization.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; healthcare or transportation experience preferred.
• At least 1 year experience with elderly or frail populations, or training within PACE.
• CPR training or willingness to complete training.
• Valid driver's license in good standing preferred.
• Must meet Employee Medical Statement requirements.

Responsibilities

• Assist drivers in transporting participants, ensuring safety and regulatory compliance.
• Accompany participants to medical appointments, assist with ambulation and comfort.
• Maintain constant communication with center and Transportation Supervisor about participant status.
• Perform daily vehicle cleaning and sanitization, assist in transporting supplies and mail.
• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to address participant needs and report concerns promptly.
