Job summary

Home Helpers of Martinsburg is seeking a compassionate Home Care Support Specialist to assist seniors and individuals in Harpers Ferry, West Virginia and surrounding areas. You will provide companionship, light housekeeping, meal prep, and personal care to help clients maintain independence in their own homes.

You will engage with families and caregivers, coordinate with the care team, and maintain detailed client records to ensure smooth care delivery.

Qualifications

• Providing one-on-one support to clients, such as companionship, light housekeeping, meal preparation, and personal care.
• Assisting with daily living activities, such as bathing, dressing, and grooming.
• Encouraging independence and autonomy for clients.
• Building relationships with clients, families and other caregivers.
• Communicating effectively with the care team to ensure seamless care coordination.
• Maintaining accurate records and reports of client care.
