The Legacy Senior Communities in Plano, TX seeks a dedicated Speech Language Pathologist to plan and implement progressive therapy to improve residents’ functional, cognitive, and communication abilities in a compassionate, compliant care setting.

You will collaborate with a care team, document progress, and ensure treatment aligns with standards and accrediting requirements; NBCOT certification and Texas licensure are required as well as geriatrics experience.

Competenze

• Must have completed an accredited Speech Language Pathologist program.
• Active NBCOT certification and Texas licensure required.
• Experience in geriatrics or hospital rehab settings preferred.

Mansioni

• Plan, organize, implement and evaluate a progressive therapy program.
• Review patient history and screenings, document assessments.
• Communicate treatment plans and progress with family and care team.
• Collaborate with health care team for discharge planning and timely care.
• Document daily interventions and outcomes, re-assess as needed.
