Job summary

Englewood Heights Post-Acute and Rehab in Pensacola, FL is seeking dedicated Full Time Speech-Language Pathologists for our in-house rehab program. You will assess and treat patients with physical functioning disorders, create care plans, and contribute to discharge summaries.

The role involves ongoing patient interaction and collaboration with a multidisciplinary team in a post-acute setting. New grads are welcome to apply, with a values-driven culture and supportive environment.

Qualifications

• Speech-Language Pathologist license is required.
• Open to SLPs at all experience levels. New Grads are welcome!

Responsibilities

• Screen and evaluate patients with physical functioning disorders and wound care, develop care plans.
• Deliver rehabilitative, skilled, and medically necessary treatment interventions.
• Assist with standing, walking, lifting, transferring, and repositioning of patients and equipment.
• Administer rehabilitation procedures including manual techniques, ambulation, exercises, modalities, and wound care.
• Provide counseling to patients, families, and caregivers regarding physical disorders.
• Generate discharge summaries ensuring regulatory and clinical compliance.
