Job summary

Gilder Search Group is seeking a Speech Language Pathologist to join a Skilled Nursing Facility rehabilitation team. The role focuses on geriatric care with an interdisciplinary team to deliver patient-centered therapy.

The SLP will evaluate and treat communication and swallowing disorders, document findings, and collaborate with nursing and therapy staff while maintaining productivity and quality care. CFY mentorship and professional growth are available.

Qualifications

• Master’s Degree in Speech Language Pathology is required.
• Active state SLP license or eligibility required.
• Skilled Nursing Facility or geriatric care experience preferred.
• Strong communication and organizational skills essential.
• Passion for working with the senior adult population is essential.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate and implement individualized speech therapy treatment plans.
• Treat residents with speech, language, voice, swallowing, and cognitive-communication disorders.
• Complete timely documentation per facility and regulatory guidelines.
• Collaborate with nursing, therapy, and interdisciplinary team members to ensure continuity of care.
• Educate residents, families, and caregivers on treatment plans and progress.
• Maintain productivity standards while delivering quality clinical care.
