Job summary

An established non-profit healthcare organization in Ridgewood is seeking a Site Physician to oversee quality medical care for patients. This role involves directing treatment, collaborating with healthcare providers, and conducting patient assessments in various settings. Candidates must be licensed in NY with board certification in Internal Medicine or Family Practice, and possess strong communication skills. The position offers a competitive salary range of $210-230k for 40 hours a week, scheduled Monday to Friday.

Qualifications

• Licensed to practice medicine in NY.
• Residency in Internal Medicine or Family Practice, Fellowship, and experience in geriatrics preferred.
• No malpractice or loss of license at the DTC.

Responsibilities

• Direct the medical care and treatment of patients.
• Collaborate with community‑based primary care providers.
• Identify opportunities to improve quality, cost, and utilization of care.
• Conduct patient assessments and treat patients in various settings.
• Facilitate medical education programs for staff.

Skills

Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Education

Graduate of an accredited school of medicine

Board Certification in Internal Medicine or Family Practice

Board Certification or experience in Geriatric Medicine
