Job summary

Liberty Health Weldon, NC, is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) to join Liberty Commons of Halifax County. The RN will ensure quality nursing care by following physician orders, policies, and regulations, and will supervise nursing assistants.

The role requires NC RN license, CPR, and a commitment to geriatric care; the RN will assist physicians, participate in rounds, ensure infection control, and support timely admissions and physicals.

Qualifications

• Licensed RN in North Carolina with current license.
• CPR certification required annually.
• Experience in geriatric nursing preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide quality nursing care per physician orders and facility policies.
• Administer medications (oral, SQ, IM, IV) as prescribed.
• Supervise nursing assistants and orderlies; assist physicians with rounds.
• Maintain infection control and standard precautions; document treatments.
• Assist with admissions scheduling and annual physicals; ensure timely documentation.
