Job summary

Ohana Pacific Health in Honolulu, HI is seeking a Registered Nurse to provide professional nursing care to residents according to facility policies. This role administers medications, transcribes orders, maintains medication inventory, and conducts comprehensive resident assessments at admission, transfer, or discharge.

Qualified candidates are graduates of an accredited school of nursing with Hawaii RN licensure; geriatrics experience and knowledge of medical terminology are preferred; First

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
• Current Hawaii RN license required.
• Geriatrics experience and current nursing standards preferred.
• Knowledge of medical terminology and abbreviations required.
• First Aid and CPR preferred (in-house possible).

Responsibilities

• Administers medications/treatments as ordered by the physician and per policy.
• Transcribes physician orders to the medication administration record and resident chart.
• Maintains and orders inventory of resident medications and stock supplies.
• Conducts accurate physical assessments and implements interventions to meet resident needs.
• Performs assessments on admission, transfer and discharge.
