Rowlett Health & Rehabilitation in Rowlett, TX is seeking a Full Time Occupational Therapist to join our in-house rehab program. You will screen and evaluate patients, develop plans of care, and deliver rehabilitative treatments to promote recovery for geriatric patients.

Qualifications

• Licensed Occupational Therapist required.

Responsibilities

• Screen/evaluate patients with cognitive and/or ADL dysfunctions and develop care plans.
• Utilize standardized assessments and evidence-based practice to guide interventions.
• Provide rehabilitative, skilled, and medically necessary treatment.
• Administer procedures as part of rehabilitation plan (ADL retraining, therapeutic activities, exercises, modalities, devices).
• Assess progress and adjust treatments per regulatory requirements.
• Evaluate outcomes and refer as needed based on results.
• Provide counseling to patients and families; coordinate with care team.
• Communicate progress and plans with supervisor and health team.
• Prepare comprehensive discharge summaries per clinical requirements.
