Job summary

Nashville Center For Rehabilitation and Healing is seeking a Physical Therapy Assistant for a full-time role in a skilled nursing facility. The PTA will assist the physical therapist with treatments to improve mobility, reduce pain, and promote resident independence with an emphasis on geriatric care.

Candidates must be licensed in the state, able to evaluate and treat independently, and dedicated to compassionate, hands-on therapy.

Qualifications

• Must be licensed as a Physical Therapy Assistant in the state of practice.
• Experience in skilled nursing facilities preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Assist the PT with therapies to improve mobility and relieve pain.
• Promote overall fitness and wellness for residents in a skilled nursing facility.
• Evaluate and treat independently with supervision as needed.
