Job summary

TEEMA is seeking a dedicated Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to join a SNF team in Washington. You will support the Physical Therapist by executing individualized therapy plans, facilitating sessions to improve strength, balance and mobility, and tracking progress with thorough documentation.

Ideal candidates hold PTA licensure with a minimum of 1 year of relevant experience. SNF or geriatric care exposure is a plus; Covid-19 and Flu vaccines are required.

Qualifications

• Current PTA licensure.
• 1 year of experience.
• Experience in a SNF or geriatric care setting is a plus.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Covid-19 Vaccine and Flu Vaccine status required.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Physical Therapist in executing individualized therapy plans for residents.
• Conduct therapy sessions aimed at improving strength, balance, and mobility.
• Monitor residents’ progress and provide feedback to the Physical Therapist.
• Document treatment sessions and maintain accurate patient records.
• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary care team to ensure optimal outcomes.
• Other duties as assigned.
