Job summary

TEEMA Solutions Group is seeking a dedicated Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) for a full-time contract in San Jose, CA. This role supports seniors at our day health center and through home visits, reporting to a licensed Physical Therapist.

Responsibilities include leading therapeutic exercises, balance and gait training, and documenting interventions. You will also assist with scheduling, billing, and coordinating care in a fast-paced, collaborative team environment.

Qualifications

• Two years of PTA experience in a clinical setting with elderly population.
• Knowledge of geriatric conditions and rehab principles.
• Proficient in scheduling, documentation, and medical billing processes.

Responsibilities

• Administer individualized PT treatments and exercise programs per supervising PT.
• Document interventions focusing on ADLs, balance, gait, and endurance.
• Assist PT with vitals, ROM, and strength testing.
• Coordinate patient scheduling and rehabilitation billing.
• Provide care in day health center and home-based visits as needed.
