Qualifications

• Doctorate or master's degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program.
• Current PT license in Tennessee.
• Long-term care/skilled nursing experience preferred.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills and a genuine interest in working with older adults.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate residents’ physical abilities and develop individualized treatment plans.
• Provide physical therapy treatments including therapeutic exercise, manual therapy, and modalities.
• Document evaluations, treatment plans, and progress notes accurately.
• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary care team on resident goals and discharge planning.
• Supervise and direct Physical Therapy Assistants as applicable.
• Perform other duties as assigned by facility management.
