Beech Tree Post-Acute and Rehabilitation Center in Jellico, TN is seeking a licensed practical nurse (LPN) to deliver direct nursing care under the supervision of an RN, ensuring quality care and resident safety.

The role encompasses medication administration, health status monitoring, admissions/discharges, wound and catheter care, and clear communication with residents and families. Strong bedside manner and interest in geriatrics are essential.

Qualifications

• Active, unencumbered LPN license in Tennessee.
• Long‑term care/skilled nursing experience preferred.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills and a genuine interest in working with older adults.

Responsibilities

• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians.
• Monitor and document residents’ health status and report changes to the RN.
• Assist with admissions, discharges, and transfers.
• Provide wound care, catheter care, and other skilled nursing procedures.
• Communicate with residents, families, and the care team regarding care needs.
• Perform other duties as assigned by facility management.
