Job summary

Lebanon Center for Rehabilitation and Healing is seeking a Physical Therapy Assistant to join our skilled nursing facility team on a PRN basis in Tennessee. The ideal candidate will help with therapies to improve mobility, reduce pain, and promote residents’ overall wellness, with the ability to evaluate and treat independently when needed.

Candidates should hold a Tennessee PTA license and have a passion for geriatric care.

Qualifications

• Must hold Tennessee PTA license.
• Experience in geriatric population preferred.
• Ability to work independently without direct supervision.
• SNF experience preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Assist the PT with therapies designed to improve mobility, relieve pain, prevent or limit permanent physical disability and promote overall fitness and wellness in a skilled nursing facility.
• Support residents to achieve functional goals through therapeutic activities.
• Evaluate and treat residents independently when appropriate under supervision.
