Job summary

TheraDynamics in Danbury, CT is seeking a Physical Therapist Assistant to join our Skilled Nursing Facility team. You will evaluate and treat patients recovering from orthopedic surgeries, neurological events, cardiac conditions, and deconditioning, with a focus on geriatrics.

You will develop individualized treatment plans, collaborate with an interdisciplinary care team, and help patients regain independence. Our caseloads are manageable and clinical judgment is valued.

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree from accredited PT program.
• Current or eligible for Connecticut State PTA license.
• Passion for geriatric rehabilitation and functional outcomes.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• New graduates are encouraged to apply — mentorship provided.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate and treat patients recovering from orthopedic surgeries, neurological events, cardiac conditions and general deconditioning.
• Develop individualized treatment plans and collaborate with the interdisciplinary care team.
• Help patients return to their highest level of independence.
• Maintain manageable caseloads and exercise sound clinical judgment.
