Job summary

Tender Touch Rehab Services is seeking a compassionate Physical Therapist Assistant to support high-quality rehab services for seniors in skilled nursing and long-term care settings.

This on-site role carries out treatment plans designed by Physical Therapists, providing therapeutic exercises, gait and balance training, and functional mobility interventions that enhance residents’ safety, independence, and quality of life.

Qualifications

• Licensed or eligible PTA in Connecticut.

Responsibilities

• Carry out treatment plans designed by Physical Therapists.
• Provide therapeutic exercises, gait and balance training, and functional mobility interventions.
• Document progress in EMRs and coordinate with the interdisciplinary care team.
• Support residents’ safety, independence, and quality of life.
• Engage in mentorship and growth opportunities within a collaborative team.
