Job summary

Deer Oaks Behavioral Health — Long-Term Care Clinical Services is seeking a Licensed Psychologist to join an integrated clinical team onsite at LTC facilities. The role emphasizes autonomy with strong clinical and administrative support, delivering therapy, assessments, and care planning.

You will collaborate with nursing, social work, physicians, and rehabilitation teams while maintaining timely documentation and compliance with HIPAA, CMS, and APA guidelines.

Qualifications

• Active, unrestricted psychologist license.
• Ability to work in LTC facilities and provide therapy and assessments.
• Strong documentation and regulatory compliance skills.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive psychological evaluations, including diagnostic assessments and cognitive screenings.
• Provide individual psychotherapy for older adults and with complex medical or cognitive needs.
• Lead or co-lead family and group therapy sessions as appropriate.
• Develop and implement evidence-based treatment plans.
• Manage caseload independently with ethical clinical judgment.
