Job summary

Deer Oaks Behavioral Health is seeking a Licensed Psychologist to provide psychological services in long-term care facilities. You will conduct evaluations, provide therapy, and develop individualized care plans within an interdisciplinary team, while maintaining high standards of ethics and documentation.

The role offers a Monday–Friday schedule with no evenings or weekends, competitive compensation, and strong administrative support to enable a focus on patient care.

Qualifications

• Active, unrestricted Psychologist license.
• Doctoral degree in psychology required.
• Experience in geriatric or LTC settings preferred.
• Ability to manage a caseload independently while collaborating with an interdisciplinary team.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive psychological evaluations and cognitive screenings.
• Provide individual psychotherapy for older adults with complex conditions.
• Facilitate family therapy and caregiver support sessions.
• Lead group therapy when appropriate and develop evidence-based treatment plans.
• Maintain timely documentation and comply with HIPAA, CMS, and APA guidelines.
