Cleveland Clinic Lutheran Hospital is seeking a dedicated LPN to join the Geriatric Psychiatry unit, serving patients aged 55 and older. You will assist with medication administration, daily care, and data collection under the supervision of the RN, contributing to high-quality nursing practice within a Magnet hospital.

The position involves day shifts from 7:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., with opportunities for ongoing training, education resources, and professional growth within the Cleveland Clinic

Qualificações

• Graduate of an approved school of Practical Nursing.
• Current LPN licensure in the State of Ohio.
• BLS certification required within one year of hire.
• Must be certified in medication administration and IV therapy where applicable.

Responsabilidades

• Perform admission, ongoing assessments and discharge documentation within defined timeframes.
• Collaborate with the RN to formulate and adjust patient care plans.
• Administer prescribed medications and monitor for side effects.
• Provide direct patient care and assist with ADLs as needed.
• Educate patients and family on diagnoses, tests, medications and safety.
