Job summary

Behavioral Health Solutions seeks Advanced Psychiatric Practitioners (PMHNP, PA-C) to join our SNF psychiatry team in Rhode Island. You will provide face-to-face psychiatric services in Skilled Nursing Facilities, assess mental status, diagnose DSM-V disorders, and develop treatment plans.

This role offers a generous base salary with incentives and PTO, CEU allowances, and access to AI note-taking tools to streamline documentation.

Qualifications

• Rhode Island licensure required (Board of Nursing)
• Prescriptive authority for controlled substances (DEA) in RI

Responsibilities

• Provide face-to-face psychiatric services in Skilled Nursing Facilities.
• Assess patient mental status based on symptoms.
• Diagnose DSM-V disorders and develop treatment plans.
• Apply medical decision-making including pharmacology and non-pharmacological treatments.
• Staff clinical cases with psychiatrists.
