Behavioral Health Solutions in Washington is seeking Advanced Psychiatric Practitioners (PMHNP, PA-C) to join our SNF Psychiatry team in WA. This full-time, W2 role offers a total earnings potential of $195,000+ annually.

Qualifications

• Licensed in Washington by the Board of Nursing in good standing with a focus in psychiatry.
• Licensed by the Washington Board of Pharmacy to prescribe controlled substances (DEA).
• 1 year of geriatric psychiatric experience.
• 1 year providing treatment within Skilled Nursing Facilities and/or Acute Rehab Hospitals.

Responsibilities

• Provide face-to-face psychiatric services to patients directly in Skilled Nursing Facilities.
• Assess the patient’s mental status based on symptoms.
• Appropriately diagnose DSM‑V disorders and develop treatment plans.
• Apply appropriate medical decision‑making skills for mental health issues including psychopharmacology options and non‑pharmacological treatments.
• Staff clinical cases with psychiatrists.
