Job summary

Behavioral Health Solutions is seeking an Advanced Psychiatric Practitioner (PMHNP, PA-C) to join our SNF Psychiatry team in Montana. You will provide face-to-face psychiatric services in Skilled Nursing Facilities, with focus on geriatric patients and integration of psychopharmacology and non-pharmacological treatments.

Qualifications

• Licensed in Montana by the Board of Nursing in good standing with a focus in psychiatry.
• Licensed by the Montana Board of Pharmacy in good standing to prescribe controlled substances (DEA).
• 1 year of Geriatric Psychiatry experience.
• 1 year providing treatment within Skilled Nursing Facilities and/or Acute Rehab Hospitals.

Responsibilities

• Provide face-to-face psychiatric services to patients in Skilled Nursing Facilities.
• Assess patient mental status based on symptoms.
• Diagnose DSM-V disorders and develop treatment plans.
• Apply medical decision-making skills for mental health including psychopharmacology and non-pharmacological treatments.
• Staff clinical cases with psychiatrists.
