Pelorus Elder & Behavioral Health is expanding its geriatric and adult psychiatry services across skilled nursing and assisted living facilities. The successful candidate will perform initial and follow-up psychiatric consults with minimal administrative burden, enjoying a flexible schedule and strong clinical support from three supervising psychiatrists.

Light documentation is required, with all care focused on quality patient encounters.

Qualifikationen

• PMHNP certification required in PA; acceptable in NJ if combined with Family & Geriatric.
• Experience prescribing and monitoring psychotropic medications is preferred, and training can be provided for the right candidate.
• Ability to provide in-person services at assigned facilities and to work independently with clinical support.

Aufgaben

• Conduct initial and follow-up psychiatric consults in select assisted living and skilled nursing facilities.
• Keep documentation concise: initial and follow-up progress notes; no H&P, no discharge summaries or rounds.
• Participate in a telephone-based on-call schedule; limited on-call duties with minimal calls.
• Collaborate with three psychiatrists and colleagues to maintain efficient workflow.
