Job summary

Cleveland Clinic Health System in Cleveland's Lutheran Hospital seeks a Nursing Assistant for the Trans Senior Mental Health unit. This day shift (7:00am-3:30pm) role focuses on assisting with daily living activities, maintaining safety and clean environments, and supporting RN-led care.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• STNA certification preferred.
• BLS certification required within the new hire period.

Responsibilities

• Assist with a wide variety of patient care tasks and collaborate with the health care team to promote patient care delivery.
• Organize patient care assignments to ensure timely delivery and completion of care on assigned patients.
• Document the care provided in the patient record.
• Label specimens properly.
• Ask patient about pain and report to the RN/LPN as needed.
• Maintain orderliness and cleanliness of the unit, including equipment.
• Perform hourly rounds to ensure safety measures are in place and bed alarms are activated.
