Job summary

UMass Memorial Health in Clinton, MA seeks an experienced RN for the Geri Medical Psych Unit on a per diem, part-time, on-site basis. You will provide direct patient care using the nursing process, perform assessments, coordinate discharge planning, and educate patients and families.

Required MA nursing licensure and BLS; ACLS preferred if current. BSN highly preferred, with responsibilities including medication administration and collaboration with a multidisciplinary team.

Qualifications

• Current Massachusetts nursing licensure and registration is required.
• BLS is required; ACLS certification is preferred if currently held.
• BSN degree is highly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Deliver and manage direct patient care using the nursing process.
• Assess and reassess patients and develop care plans.
• Coordinate discharge planning and educate patients and families.
• Document care accurately and collaborate with the health team.
• Administer medications and assist with treatments per policy.
