UAB Medicine invites applications for a Behavioral Health RN at UAB St. Vincent’s East.

You will provide direct patient care to behavioral health patients, perform initial and ongoing bio-psychosocial assessments, develop and implement nursing plans of care, and participate in treatment team conferences to set goals and interventions. The role requires a Diploma in Nursing and an Alabama LAPRN license, plus BLS within 30 days of hire.

Formación

• BLS Provider within 1 month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date.
• Licensed Associate Professional Registered Nurse credentialed from the Alabama Board of Nursing prior to hire.

Responsabilidades

• Provide direct patient care to behavioral health patients per facility policies.
• Perform initial and ongoing bio-psychosocial assessments and develop a nursing plan of care.
• Participate in treatment team conferences to plan and revise goals and interventions.
• Implement nursing plan of care and co-lead group therapy sessions as needed.
