Job summary

Brown University Health Taunton seeks an experienced registered nurse to coordinate and deliver total nursing care for patients at Morton Hospital, Taunton MA.

You will lead by example, document assessments, develop care plans, coordinate with interdisciplinary team, and mentor junior staff while maintaining MHMC policies.

Evening shift, 24 hrs/wk; opportunity to contribute to a major health system and advance patient-centered care.

Qualifications

• RN with at least 1 year of experience.
• BSN preferred and MA RN license.
• BLS and ACLS certification as applicable.

Responsibilities

• Document initial and ongoing patient assessments per MHMC policy.
• Develop and modify individualized care plans including discharge planning.
• Provide age-appropriate care across all patient groups.
• Initiate patient teaching and coordinate care using a multidisciplinary approach.
• Delegate tasks as appropriate and supervise other caregivers.
• Evaluate patient responses and exercise independent judgment in emergencies.
• Administer medications and treatments per aseptic technique and policy.
