Job summary

Penn Medicine Lancaster General Health is seeking a BC/BE Geriatrician to act as Geriatric Program Director and clinician within one of the region's largest geriatric programs. The physician joins a team of geriatricians, nurse practitioners, and a broader clinical network to oversee care across long-term and inpatient settings, with opportunities for teaching and leadership.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited School of Medicine (Allopathic / Osteopathic).
• Board Certified in Family Medicine or Internal Medicine.
• Board Eligible or Board Certified in Geriatric Medicine.
• Possess or able to obtain an unrestricted PA Medical License.
• Completed Certification Requirements for Certified Medical Director (CMD) - preferred

Responsibilities

• Act as Geriatric Program Director and clinician for one of the region's largest geriatric programs.
• Provide care across the full spectrum in long-term-care settings, inpatient Geriatric Consult Service, and outpatient geriatric consultations.
• Lead a team including other geriatricians and nurse practitioners; participate in teaching, quality improvement, leadership, and committee work.
• Oversee 5 section leads of sub-practices within the practice.
