Job summary

Mascmedical in Hoover, AL is seeking a Primary Care Physician (Full-Time) to deliver high-quality, value-based outpatient care focused on geriatric patients. Schedule Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM with no weekends or hospital rounds.

This role includes competitive base salary with production-based bonus, sign-on and relocation assistance, malpractice insurance, CME allowance, licensing renewal support, 401(k) with match, and strong clinical and administrative support in a collaborative team.

Qualifications

• MD or DO from an accredited medical school.
• Internal Medicine or Family Medicine or Geriatric Medicine.
• Active, AL license.
• Current DEA registration.
• At least 3 years of experience in Outpatient Primary Care.
• Strong clinical judgment with a focus on preventive and longitudinal care.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Commitment to a team-based, patient-first care model.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive primary care services, including evaluation, diagnosis, and treatment of acute and chronic conditions.
• Deliver preventive care, wellness visits, and health screenings with a focus on early intervention.
• Develop and manage individualized care plans for a predominantly geriatric population.
• Collaborate closely with nurse practitioners, care coordinators, and support staff to ensure seamless, patient-centered care.
• Utilize electronic health records (EHR) to document clinical encounters and track patient outcomes.
• Engage in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to a culture focused on continuous care enhancement.
• Educate patients and families on disease prevention, treatment plans, and healthy lifestyle choices.
