Job summary

Family Health Centers of San Diego seeks a dedicated MD physician to join the Main on Mollison Family Health Center in El Cajon, CA. The role focuses on outpatient primary care for older adults and vulnerable communities, aligning with our mission to provide high-quality, affordable health care.

Qualifications

• Doctorate from an accredited medical school (MD).
• Board certification or eligibility in a primary care field.
• Current unrestricted medical license in California or ability to obtain.
• DEA license current.
• CPR/BLS required (or related advanced life support).
• Experience with underserved populations preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide high quality, compassionate medical care to a diverse patient population.
• Perform routine exams, procedures and screenings.
• Order/interprete labs, imaging, and point-of-care tests.
• Evaluate patients with complex problems and refer to specialists as needed.
• Complete all documentation per departmental standards and EMR requirements.
• Attend mandatory meetings and participate in clinic operations and on-call duties.
