Qualifications

• Education: Medical Degree (MD or DO) from an approved/accredited school of medicine.
• Certification: CA Physician & Surgeon License, DEA registration, ABIM Geriatrics, CPR.
• Experience: 1–2 years' experience as a practicing Geriatric physician in California preferred.

Responsibilities

• Render professional services to patients under the supervision of the Medical Director.
• Adhere to LMCHC policies to provide quality medical care.
• Act as primary consultant on geriatric cases referred by staff.
• Ensure higher standard of care for senior patients.
• Provide preventive care and manage chronic and age-related conditions; address acute issues.
• Examine and treat clinic patients, interpret lab data, and support disease control programs.
• Assist in planning new clinical programs and adopt new technologies to improve patient services.
